If you are associating with ANTIFA then they put you on a watch list and monitor your activities. They do this all through social media. Most likely all of the ANITFA people going to protests have their cell phones being tracked to a certain extent. FBI is looking for people who are doing violent stuff like arson.
If you watch protests where ANTIFA operates in you can see them have water bottles with lighter fluid and combustible gasses. Both of which are used to start and accelerate the spread of a fire.
The FBI waits for person to start the fire then they track their cell phone data and review social media (videos). That's why the FBI is so accurate at tracking down these arsonists.
