Made a throwaway because Central Corporate HR does scour social media, but essentially little filtering is done at amazon. There are shell vendor accounts, BS item listings, and completely inaccurate documentation. Some really shady vendors bait and switch customers outright. The customers get refunded, and the accounts get banned eventually. But amazon does such high volume they can't really stop it.
We have whole departments in India dedicated to account investigations, and you can imagine how effective that is.
Real Merican's need neither. We shoot the can open.
Still need a solid filtering/listing/de-obfuscating entire issue.
Amazon has absolutely no problem allowing all the images to have "USA" slapped all over them ... but not actually list "Country of Origin" anywhere.

Unless it's cars. Ford and Chevy lost my business. Chrysler is shadow of itself ever since Fiat cut corners.
