Wtf happened to these men. Was it the rise of dominant women joining the workforce including teaching positions at learning institutions or was it truly the soy crap in our food. I am very curious to know.
Even with my conservative husband who would rather bury his head in the sand - I’m the one pushing to buy ammo & stocking up. I’m also trying to have political conversations with our middle of the road family & friends to sway their vote for Trump.
I was actually very worried if shit does go down so I recently purchased a gun and teaching myself to shoot. Sadly, some of the conservative women will be the ones protecting our property & family.
Women haven't just entered the workplace. They took away men's purpose. It is our solemn duty to guard and fight for our family, so that our wives can maintain a safe place where we can retreat and recover. But common divorce means that safe place no longer exists. If it does, it can be stripped away at any moment. So, now, men with families are fighting a war on two fronts. If he's unlucky enough to lose that war at home, he's stripped of half of everything he owns, the government takes his place as breadwinner, while his ability to earn income is decimated.
Meanwhile, he's told sex is freely available since there's plenty of loose women out there, and that seems like a decent option rather than face the bizarre half-life most marriages seem to have these days. Not to mention our wives seem programmed to undercut our every decision.
Our entertainment told us our desire to conquer is monstrous, rather than trying to redirect it into healthy avenues.
Our education was more of an indoctrination, where learning was never geared to our pace, but some middle ground no one ever seems to quite be at. So we're either constantly held back through our school years, never able to embrace our potential, or we're pushed far beyond our capabilities, until we're so strained from the fight that we feel inadequate in every way. For most men, it's a little bit of both.
Then, upon entering the workforce, we're berated annually and with every new job we take with educational tapes that remind us that, because we're men, we're automatically prone to make everyone around us uncomfortable with any loud or boisterous or even flirtatious behavior, so we'd better keep our mouths shut and heads down. It doesn't matter that we'd never behave as lewdly or crassly as the men portrayed in those videos. It's always men, and even if a token woman is thrown in, she behaves like the stereotypical crass man would behave, and not a woman.
So we take this in, and even if we fight it, it becomes ingrained into our subconscious mind: "I have to watch what I say. Will this be taken the wrong way?" And since we were raised right, or at least more closely to right than not, we were never prone to prey on our coworkers, male or female, and those questions get applied everywhere but where they were intended to be.
He's had the fight taken out of him. Build him up to set him right. Berating him just makes you part of the problem.
How have women taken away men’s purpose? Unfortunately the minority of crass/predatorial men have made made it such that women don’t feel safe around other men. Just statistically, 1/3 (or more) of women will be sexually harassed by men during their lives.
Unfortunately because of that, the rest of us men have to watch all these videos and are continually called out even if we have no intention of doing anything bad.
Also, as long as these people are not imposing their will or doctrine upon me and my family...they can do whatever the hell they want IMO
