Yeah that's the thing they don't get. They don't think that they'll eventually be battling the greed of those on their own side. Right now they're held captive by the delusion that human greed will cease to exist once the "evil capitalist right" is abolished. They don't see exactly how greedy THEY are. And once they see that their own personal greed is incompatible with the greed of the ruling class, they'll then know that they're FUCKED. I just hope they live longer than 15 minutes after coming to that realization so they can see what they'll have done.
