Republican ballot had zero choices on it. All offices have only one name available. Not sure what it means, but I get the sense it means we're not actually choosing from a pool of actual candidates, we're just getting what the party props up.
Maybe I'll put my name on one of those offices in the future as a choice.
The key to party conventions is how many votes you can bring with you. They hold the conventions in out of the way places so it's hard to bring enough people to matter. The one time we had enough people to override the parties chosen candidates, they changed the rules so many of our votes wouldn't count, then bused in actual mentally disabled people, changed the rules so they weren't considered late, and then allowed their handler to vote for them.
Same here.

Gotta get involved long before the primaries if you want to oust the incumbents.
I know. The seed has been planted in my head just this year.
