should try https://yandex.com/ pretty sure its a Russian search engine, I can't get some sites to show up on search results with chrome or Quant, like 4 chan or The Pirate Bay as examples, but they show up on yandex.
Yeah, it's Russkey, I wouldn't trust them, they have draconian internet censorship and spying laws. All servers must be in Russia and their FSB (former KGB) will keep a wary eye on what's on it (in short).
It does show up if you search for "the donald win" but it's actually stupid that it doesn't when this is literally a site with the same name as the search query.
I use Duck duck as default but the algorithm is shit. I will search a company name and the company website with ‘company-name.com’ address does not come up in top results.
I often just jump to google as long as I am searching something non political.
I hope they improve but this point it feels like they are spending more money on marketing than on developing the product.
Stop using Google's search engine for anything. It's heavily biased and censored around anything political, including the corona-virus. I use DuckDuckGo exclusively these days.

It's not banned on Google in Canada. However, I'm using a free Linux OS as well.

That's interesting, I HATE google for image searching. It doesn't allow you to download or save the pictures you find. DDG allows you to.

I use duckduckgo exclusively now. No more home page virtue signaling from goolag and bing.
I really like bing, for image searching its way better.
Ditched it years ago. I avoid all Google products like the plague. Mostly use Duck & Bing.
