Honestly this is what scares me. I am one of the calmest, stoic type people you will ever meet. I hate no one. I want to live me life and want everyone else to be able to do the same.

But everyday, a little piece of me is bitten away. Everyday, a small part of my brain has a demonic thoughts that weren't there before. Everyday, I clinch my fist with the next story of riots and brutality. One day, there will be nothing left and I'll look over to that gun and think...

The big problem is people I know say the same thing. They are being pushed more and more to the realization that the only logic response to this is another Civil War. It is as if the Leftists are goading us, pushing us, torturing us to stand up with arms and come at them. I honestly don't get this. They know we are the ones with the guns and ammo, with the training and with the resolve should we be pushed to it.

We are the ones who took this country from England, who has stood up to communism around the world, who has defended people in 2 world wars. What have they done?

This saying keeps pounding in my head: Be careful what you ask for, you might get it.

I think that the present hope that things can be discussed without the exchange of munitions is not a bad thing.

People that are simply giving up the field and retreating to "we can only respond with violence" may be a bit premature.

I agree that things are tense, but a violent response serves no purpose and achieves little but accelerating America's stumble into the process of third world politics that the NGO's are trying to instigate.

You cannot trust a system that is enforced with violence, this is why people find the CCP to be an abhorrent system of governance if you can instigate the American system of governance into the same levels of violence to maintain control, then the American system has no further validity in cases of human rights.

And guess who wins in that situation? China. How convenient.

This is not to say that we should not defend ourselves, but there is little to be gained in suddenly massing up huge groups of armed people to defend things which are not actually being attacked.

For every video you see of a riot, there are a million other places in the country where its just a normal day. Do not let them push you to violence in the defense of things that do not affect your community.

Defend your family, defend your community, but do not rise to the bait of the communists. They can only declare themselves martyrs if we take their bait...and they are dying to become martyrs.
