So true... on r/Ireland there was a big thread the other day, someone was complaining about people not wearing masks on the bus and sitting in the “X” seats that you’re supposed to leave empty etc. A fairly normal discussion ensued, someone mentioned that early on the experts were telling people not to wear masks, now they’re saying wear them, so give people some latitude even though it’s rude not to wear one, etc....
Then someone starts a whole other discussion “derp, Americans are so derp, they refuse to wear masks because politics, derp, Orange Man Bad” etc. Of course the usual anti-American, anti-Drumpf circle-jerk followed.
TLDR: “If an Irish person isn’t wearing a mask, he probably has a good reason, but if a yank isn’t wearing a mask it’s because he supports Drumpf.” -- r/Ireland.
