Exactly why we need to just go for herd immunity. Damn thing’s not even deadly unless you’re over 60 or have a bad pre-existing condition. There’s no reason to close schools, no reason to cancel every remotely fun event. If you’re in the high risk age group keep protecting yourself, but everyone else just let the damn thing spread around and (not) get people a little sick so we can build immunity and get it over with.
This. I had it and yeah it sucked but I've had worse illnesses in my life. I'd rather get kung-flu again than the actual flu which put me on death's door the last time I had it.
