Or even worse, having pre-existing grievances against a baby who's ancestors weren't even in the US during said events.

Which happens to be most white people today.

Also happens that most white people never owned slaves. Most white people whose ancestors date back to slavery more likely had ancestors that were slaves or little better than slaves themselves.

The argument then becomes "well they have benefited from white supremacy" which is rather fucking different than owning slaves and quite a movement of the goalposts

Then you have to ask what "white privilege" they have enjoyed exactly. Not growing up on MLK street? Not having a single welfare mom? I should be punished for that? Did I enjoy that because I'm white? What about the black people or Asian or Hispanics who enjoyed non dysfunctional upbringings?

Then it becomes easily disprovable lies about white people getting advantages such as preferential hiring, that actually black people get.

If actually examined it is just pure racial hatred, that's all.
