He can't just fix the problem, he HAS to let it get terrible.
Think of this.
You get a new landlord. He comes in your place while you aren't home, and says "I heard about a leak in here, so I came to fix it. It's fixed." You're going to be pissed that he was in your house without your permission or you being there.
Now, same scenario. But this time you see floor is flooded. Wet clothes, carpet, towels.....and you see he has a pump going, cleaning up the mess and says "I heard there was a leak, it was pretty bad, but I fixed it before the entire place flooded." You're going to be so grateful that he took care of it.
If Trump would have busted these idiots up early on....or even now, it's still too soon. The public have to get angry. The public have to see how big, and how bad the problem is, and they have to get vocal about it.
Then, he can take care of it, and he'll be a hero. If he does it now the left will say "Look, he's attacking citizens with the military!"
We know how terrible and violent antifa is. But most other americans don't.
In just the past few days I've changed my own stance on the CHAZ/CHOP, and on stopping/slowing for "protestors".
If they start to set up a CHOP in my town, I'm going to organize an ARMED resistance to tear it down immediately the moment they try to put up a border.
If I'm driving and protestors are blocking the streets, I'm just going to put on my hazards and keep rolling at the posted speed limit while holding down the horn, because once you slow down, then they surround you and attack you.
Afterwords I'll contact a lawyer and let him/her handle it. I won't make a statement without a lawyer there.
Now a week ago, I wouldn't have done anything. But after seeing all these videos of the leftist violence, I will refuse to become a victim.
you cant run as the law and order candidate if you were actively president while this bullshit was going on. it's been a month of this nonsense, put it down
Let's follow this logic. So he sends in the national guard. The lefties escalate to the point where you may see bricks, bombs, or live ammo coming from the crowds. The national guard is forced to respond in kind. Some young retards die. The media then frames it as Trump sending in the national guard to kill young kids, he loses the election, and everything goes according to their plan.
The whole purpose of these riots is to make Trump lose the election. Don't play right into it.
that might have been true at the outset although i personally doubt it
we've spent a month watching innocent people get wounded or killed by these rioting mongs while lives have been destroyed and businesses utterly demolished
if you're still hung up on "oh my god the media might actually air negative ads against the president that's never happened before" after a month of this how many more people need to get their lives ruined first?
you cant run as the law and order candidate if you were actively president while this bullshit was going on. what do you think is worse? CNN running negative ads against the president for the 8 millionth time, or establishing precedent that you can force the government to come to a screeching halt for anything up to and including putting down deadly riots in an election year for fear they'd do something that could cost them an election? is it better to have a legacy of doing the right thing and being shamed for it or standing by doing nothing while you had the power to protect people? why don't you ask the deputy at parkland who stood outside the building doing nothing but listening to the screams while the shooting was going on?
The media have been negative the whole time, sure, and so far they've failed to pierce the armor.

And no one blames Trump for that because BLM is doing it. If it's the national guard that changes.

They've been trying to say Trump is a tyrant since the beginning. No one believes them. The governors are against him. If he sends in the military without their permission, then suddenly the media has a story to run with that looks true. Trust in Trump. He knows what he's doing. If it got bad enough he would go in no problem, but right now things are not at that point and sending in the military or national guard is overkill.
He just needs to continue sending the feds in to pick off Antifa one by one. They are the ones riling up the crowds. As far as the looters go in general, that's something the police need to take care of. Even NYPD doesn't want Trump to send in the calvary at the moment, because they can handle it on their own as long as the local government actually prosecutes people.
I’d rather he just fucking fix the problem and then he can campaign about how he can get things done.
He can't just fix the problem, he HAS to let it get terrible.
