I understand all of that. However, they didn't just take over institutions in the last month and a half. They are trying to do more but in many ways they are cutting off their nose to spite their face- they just don't realize it yet. You also have to ask yourself, "What exactly are they winning?" Their propaganda is more obvious and irritating than ever.
I know statues are just the beginning. Other people see that too. That's my point. No tangible victories yet, only symbolic stuff. Just because we aren't meeting them tit for tat on every little thing just yet doesn't mean they are actually gaining ground.

I absolutely agree that those are definite wins. The judges are good but I have no faith in them yet, we've been burned too many times by neo-con appointees. H1Bs are temporarily stopped, as are both the China and Muslim travel. The China trade deal and the wall are the best things to happen in my lifetime.
