Not opinion.

This has happened and continues to happen.

It's the literal definition of an opinion.... You don't get to rewrite definitions, pede.

There are people in the military who genuinely belive they are defending our freedoms by risking their lives and being away from their families.

All conservatives not in the military have to do is talk, slip a paper into a box(so to speak).

at worst, they can protest...They can PRESERVE the freedoms that the soildiers they support fight for. Yet, it seems as if they do not have the courage or desire to do so.

...You do not see the troops using the same "excuse", even though they risk death and mental destruction.

Because that is their job genius... when they're there they are at work, they don't have to figure out how to do both things simultaneously because they are already both simultaneous for them....

I'm not going to type my original reply all over again but that's exactly what applies to this comment.. you either clearly have a different home situation or you simply don't understand what it's like for most American men with families, kids, and that aren't rich

I realize how hard it is...however it is harder for the troops as they have more risk and yet home conservatives do not have the risk they have and do not even try to preserve what they claim is so dear...or take any risks at all.

On a side note...How does it feel knowing that the value of your dollar is 1/3 of what it was since 2003?
