Half black friend of mine called me racist when I casually brought up aunt jemima.. even tried to back off and just agree to try and avoid losing a friend over it, pisses me off she stooped so low so quick.

Anyway I was having a 4th of July pool/party bbq, cancelled the event (due to covid) then sent out private invites to people I want there, without her inclusion. https://imgur.com/a/fCoKFSw

Sorry about the loss of a friend, I'm pretty sure we all have lost one or two in this war.

I've been standing my ground on Aunt Jamima. The entire premise is bullshit. So we are now supposed to belive that racists put a black woman on syrup bottles for other racists to purchase. Because if there is one thing racists want more than anything is to see a smiling black woman on the label of their syrup as they eat breakfast. Yes my friends, racists want nothing more then pictures of black people in their house.

When I point this out to my liberal friends they actually say, yes racists want black people on their products so they can still feel like slave owners. (Please be sure to read that in Lewis Black's voice, it makes it sound even dumber then it already does)

Remind me again how many Black Americans die every year of obesity-related illnesses?

So we remove the smiling black lady from the label, but leave in the metric shit-ton of HFCS/sugar and artificial flavors/colors.

It's like a culinary metaphor for the Leftish way - rally the outrage mob to push for a meaningless symbolic change, while ignoring the aspect of the situation that's actually killing significant numbers of Blacks.

I always loved Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben. I thought they were comforting and a positive image for black people everyone could relate to.

It's crazy that leftists want to remove positive images and prop up BLM terrorism.

Almost as if black people are no longer useful for the democrats and they are throwing blacks under the bus yet again for power. They want a civil war with blacks as the scapegoat while they laugh and get on their private jet somewhere else.

Democrats are demons, the children of darkness.

She's disingenuous and always ready to play the victim card, too much emotional labor aka doesn't want to have to rationalize any positions she has, just be able to claim them because "emotions" she was ready to call me a racist after her fiance attacked me on Facebook earlier in the week and I didn't hold back, wrecked him with some facts/statistics

Stage 4 Feminism that has metastasized into intersectionality. For friendships, the diagnosis is almost always fatal.

My dude, best not to reply with statistics and such on Facebook. Best to stay well clear of the BLM topic with anyone black. It's touching on a massive chip on shoulder that most can't think logically about.

On Facebook I was remaining non political, I had only shared the Video complication by Pierre Legrand if you remember, it was posted here and I added no political commentary, just the videos showing the violence of the protestors and he came at me Saying "Quite a list here (my name redacted). I see its missing the one of your boy tear gassing peaceful protesters and a priest for a photo op in front of a church." So it ensued from there

I'd rather weed those douchebags out of my life.

Emotional labor - that phrase makes me irate!

Dude, having less retard libs in your life is always a great thing. Don't sweat it. She loves being a victim.

Dude thanks for sharing that discussion. I probably wouldn't of shared that news with her though with her being half black. She sounds unhinged. It's like Uncle Ben Rice, a wholesome product and brand that actually challenges stereotypes.

And Uncle Ben was a trailblazer in quick cook rice, very useful.

Aunt Jemimah was even a real person. They cancelled a popular depiction of a real historical black woman, it has nothing to do with minstrel shows. Just lashing out now.

yep and her descendants are also upset about it, who are these woke people to say what she would have wanted? I bet she was proud of the brand she helped to build..
