The police need to be there to break up "protests" like that. This should NEVER be allowed. Blocking streets is a criminal offense. just enforce the laws. This is not peacefully protesting.
Arrest them and put them in jail ALL of them. You want to be in the streets? Arrange it with the government so it's orderly and SANCTIONED. Otherwise you can stand on the sidewalks where its SAFE all you want and protest.
This blocking traffic shit is getting old. And people do not want to get mobbed and attacked or have their car half destroyed. This is unacceptable. I'd arrest all "protesters" blocking the street.
We're at the point maybe we shouldn't be saying "Defund the police" (not that we're the ones saying it) but "Take the power to control the police out of the hands of politicians who won't let them do their jobs."
When a mayor or police chief orders police not to get involved in these situations, that mayor or police chief MUST BE REMOVED.
