I think people often lose sight of this while on Reddit.

Based Canucks and Europeans on this site are an exception, but a ton of the rest just don't understand Americans and they're typically institutionalized when it comes to big government and lack of self reliance.

It's sad to see, but we're a different breed. Even leftist Americans are different than them.
