A long while back a friend of mine couldn't understand why I carried a gun. He thought I would just make the situation worse every time. Like they wouldn't have killed me before, but when I pull out a gun, they would definitely kill me.

He then told me he would let him, his wife, and his kid get mugged because it would be better than being dead.
