Whenever I go to a concert, for at least the past decade, I have always picked seats near the exit and when I arrive at the venue, I scope out my escape route before the show starts. Especially after the massacre in Paris at the Eagles of Death Metal concert. I ain't going out like that.
They should actually have specialists that work with police to handle non violent mentally ill etc. Having police do everything is wrong. However, studies show there is a balance. They have to use them in conjunction with police officers.
The issue with the Defund movement is they want to remove too many police when in reality the cities that are going to defund then need them the most.

Like usual the Left fucks it up. The police do need more training, more tools, more help. That means more funding not less. That means smarter funding. That means efficient use of tools.
Police should have more vacation, more mental health support, more role support. They should be part of the community. They should walk the community. Bad cops should be held accountable.
Most people, and cops support all of these things. Yet this basic issue is taken by the left to mean harass cops, make their lives hell, and defund them.
That is how you know the left doesn't care. That they don't actually want change.
