There will not be a vaccine soon. Furthermore, a vaccine is not necessary.
The numbers clearly show that while the virus can spread it is less virulent. This often happens in warmer months. But it also indicative of a virus that has nearly run its course. I'm only looking at numbers. Perhaps some doctors can chime in.
I have extensive data for a single state and although there has been a recent swale of cases, the rise in hospitalizations is miniscule and hardly proportional. i.e. We are testing a bunch more. But the percent positives for these extraordinary test numbers is now back under 5%. CDC's goal was 10%. (Louisiana data)
The absolute best course of action would be to take no precautions whatsoever with young people. Allow sports and campus bars to expedite herd immunity.
The virus is now making its last stand and is killing itself. This coincides w/ herd immunity.
yes, actually they did
I don't disagree with you, I don't know enough myself. But they still had to be mitigated with vaccines. If it was known, as the person I replied to stated, that "Viruses always evolve to be less lethal over time" then the vaccines we so strongly encourage people to get for these illnesses wouldn't really be necessary, right?
