Just cause you don't like The Church doesn't mean reading the Bible isn't a bad thing. I bowed out whenever it was obvious they were more interested in filling seats than sticking to The Word.
Don't make this about the church. Just listen to the talk, it draws on Western tradition going back to Aristotle. I promise you you won't regret it.
