Funny thing is even the liberals never want the affordable housing or section 8. I lived in a suuuper left wing town for years. They all screamed about needing affordable housing but whenever there was a proposed location everyone that lived there pushed hard against it. So they don’t want it near them but it’s ok to impose on literally everyone else. Also why is the affordable housing and section 8 always the NICEST shit?? I pay a pretty penny for my apartment and it’s in a shared building, no yard, I don’t own a car, I can’t have a dog. I walk two blocks away and section 8 has driveways with really nice cars, yards, dogs, porches, no one living above them. In the middle of the city! I just continue to feel good that I make my own way through life. (I’m definitely getting that dog and yard once I move out of this god forsaken city anyway!)
