I visited the page today and had to log in, goodness knows why. I was like here a minute ago. Nevertheless, I just noticed to log in the button says “Submit.”
Since most if not all of us here refuse to submit, can that button be renamed? It just feels right now that Reddit has pulled the trigger on that fuckery and all.
Thoughts on how it should be named?
Engage? IDK, just thinking Captain Picard.
Login, Confirm, Continue - could all be useable improvements instead of Submit.
Something that really bugs me... is when you click on a thread from the main feed and enter into the thread, then click back to go to the main feed— it always is in a different location as if I’ve moved up or down in position or the page has refreshed and reordered slightly. I have to scroll up and down to find the place where I was.
Also back to top button covers submit on mobile. Kinda annoying.

I only see the issue on mobile. I haven’t used desktop but I don’t want to multi step to press hold open new window go to new window close etc. just forward/backward keep position. Many apps and websites do it. It’s probably a page cache/refresh on back. Needs some JavaScript to hold positions
