The way we combat this is speaking the truth. Just to run with the Fredo/Trump covid example: Start talking about how Andrew Cuomo literally vectored the Chinese virus into nursing homes. Start talking about how Trump cut off travel and rallied American businesses to rise to the challenge. Play them clips of Democrat governors praising Trump's response.
We have to remember, the vast majority of people don't question the narrative they're being fed and are largely disconnected from politics. It's up to US to dispense red pills.
