I just watched this video about the new warfronts where Smarter Every Day interviewed a 4 star general. https://youtu.be/qOTYgcdNrXE . The general specifically talks about how the new battle ground is the social media world and how the spread of information can change the will of the people to fight. I feel like China was able to infiltrate all these social media companies, convince them all to censor concervitives at the same time, and then work with the press to lay cover for the banning of ideas (fabricated Russia bounty story was released at the same time). This all allows China to eliminate a bastion of free speech in the US that can help influence the rest of the US population to stand up to them. I don't know... maybe I am looking too much into it, but it sure feels like a full blown assult on our freedoms by a forign adversary.

No.
China has been in an ongoing cyber attack against America. It has bumped up since President Trump came down hard on trade with them. And now its up another notch up with the world blaming them for COVID19
Toss in the recent news that the FCC is placing a ban on Huawei & ZTE.
The Chinese Communist Party has their backs against the wall. So while to some a Chinese cyber attack might seem to be something "new".
In reality it has been ongoing for a long time.
China has been at war with the US since 1949 wether the US government has realized it or not. They have been slowly entangling themselves in our economy and forcing their businesses to follow CCP orders. You and I clearly agree on that.
I am talking specifically about a move that removes the right of individuals to express their views in a way that harms the CCP in a place that may sway voters to vote for Trump, their biggest road block to increasing their influence.
China has its fingers around everything in the United States.
