Of course, standard straight guy is not interested. He'd like children, and transsexuals are sterile. And I'm sure he'd prefer a real woman, with real parts, who is real and not the facsimile.
But then some are attracted to women, but want to be a lesbian, because they identify as a woman and feel awkward as themselves.
And that's the crux of it: most feel awkward as themselves and are running or hiding from a deep pain.
