We were denied entry to Arlington National Cemetery because of “muh Covid.” A cemetery, where you can EASILY “social distance,” denies taxpayers the ability to make use of the facilities. I’m so fucking done with this bullshit.
The terrazas in Spain have been open for a month. There's nothing stopping anyone who wants a drink of any kind from getting one. And while there have been a few outbreaks, people are being treated and hospitals are in good shape. Before the terrazas reopened hospitals had to have a minimum number of beds per capita to treat covid patients.
A few observations:
Cafe culture is very important here. People will nurse a drink and chat for upwards of 30 minites or more.
the rule is to wear a mask in public spaces. Almost everyone complies.
People stop and talk to friends on the street but they keep their distance. No typical kiss kiss that used to occur.
Where I live, the city has allowed for extra out door tables to make up for the loss of indoor places. The tables are well spread out. Hand sanitizer is widely available.
The crowds aren't what they were last summer, but they're picking up.
im tired of cans, i need a daft. ill take a little cough for it.
But the BLM riots around the country are perfectly fine and must continue!
