I understand that there are "based gays", like Milo Yiannopoulos and Dave Rubin. All I am saying in this post is that I do not approve of their choice of lifestyle, because it is sinful. I still support homosexual rights and all. The more homosexual Trump supporters there are, the better.
We need all the votes we can get and even if they are sinners (who isn't?) that's for God to sort out, not you or me. Imagine a gay on the fence, maybe thinking about walking away from the dems, comes here to see what's up. When they see a post like yours it supports any confirmation bias they might have about Trump supporters hating all gays.

To whatever extent mental illness plays a role in homosexuality, one could make the case for mental illness playing a part in a slew of other conditions that many others have: anxiety, depression, PTSD, etc. Point is, we all have some form of "mental illness". Just some cope better than others.
Gays are not going anywhere. We need some level of inclusivity by providing a space/platform for individuals who denounce liberal extremism but also are gay. I myself am not gay but too often I see these individuals caught between a rock and a hard place in choosing what is perceived as the lesser of two political evils. Lets make that choice easier for them by not attaching derogatory terms to their sexual preference. We are in a crucial time period and we need all hands on deck.
