Besides all the obvious reasons not to wear one, they want to normalize it so we wear them year-round, every flu season and never be allowed anywhere in public without one again.

"Wear masks until we have an vaccine to make you take" IS NOT AN ANSWER
"Wear masks until [insert goalpost]" IS NOT AN ANSWER
"Wear masks until July 31st" is a better answer but no one still wants to comply willingly.
There HAS to be finite dates and times for us to move forward, no open-ended rules that can easily lead to goalpost-moving and more/continued rules. People would have been more willing at the start to play along and just get it overwith if there were finite terms. It is wholly unacceptable to have things like this go on "until its over"
