My neighborhood has one asshole (OK, two - I live here as well). He's barely speaking to me because I'm in one of the Michigulag counties where the sheriff told Greasy Gretchen he wouldn't enforce her orders so I put up a sign supporting him, just like many others did in the county. Apparently it has pissed him off beyond rationality.
Last time I saw it was in his ditch covered in debris. He didn't bother to take care of it and the snowplow nailed it.
I didn't say a word about it when he put it up and we had cordial conversations. It must suck to go through life pissed off at yard signs, but that's none of my business.
Are people in your area wearing masks? I'm staying in northern mid-MI and see less than half of people in stores wearing them. Went down to Detroit area last week - not a single person without one.
Some are, most aren't. I do in home service, some of my customers are very high risk so I wear a mask in enclosed public spaces and on service calls. There's very little covid here in Northern Lower, but almost every day the news is reporting exposure sites and they are 95% bars, wineries and restaurants and almost always people from outside the area that caused the exposure. Just FYI.
Make your own choices and enjoy your stay. Love it when pedes come to visit us up here in God's country!
Good for you! I'm on site most of the time. I'm convinced the mask is mostly theater but there are scenarios where it could help keep my customers safe if I get sick. I'm doing it anyway and I can write off the masks as a business supply.
I wore one while at stores for a little while, simply because my mother is in the high-risk group (and I'm staying with her), but the stupidity of it just became too much.
Amen

He had this sign up for a while last year: https://www.syracuseculturalworkers.com/sites/default/files/images/products/misc/in-our-america-3315.jpg

Yeah, I've been here almost 4 months. It's going to suck when working remotely comes to an end.
