In Colorado we have 100k California refugees coming in a year. These people complain about how they couldn't afford to be there anymore while simultaneously voting the exact same way

Amazing, isn’t it? Brainwashing is insidious. They started flooding into Nevada around the early 2000s; fleeing heavy taxation, prohibition on everything and looking for work. They found: freedom to do as they pleased, low taxes and plenty of work...and then promptly voted the legislation blue as well as the governorship.

Exactly as a virus behaves.

I don't know how many blue states there are versus red ones, but god I feel bad for the sane people trapped in deep blue ones. Literal shitholes slowly eroding the country collectively.

There are more Californian conservatives than there are people period in a number of states.

so just FYI. I am moving to Colorado from Virginia and own property near Canon City. I obviously will not be voting the way California refugees will. So hopefully there will be enough of people like me to act as a counter to them.

Nothing wrong with being a transplant, the state is amazing.

That is not going to change. Many of those moving will be right-leaning or centrists. Most if not all of them are under some semblance of political shock as the democrats are driving themselves off a cliff. This is the time for outreach and conversion tactics.

There is nothing wrong with being a conservative. There isn't a left-leaning individual I've met that doesn't respond well to certain tenants of libertarianism. Everyone loves good populism. We have the tools and the big tent here. They might not be ready for T_D, but they sure as hell are all ready to #walkaway from the failures of their past.

Liberals hate the wars, hate the spying, hate the evil big corporations. Who's side should they be on, again?
