Rogan is known for altering his viewpoint (to put it gently) based on his guests. He has explained multiple times he does this because he wants to understand where his guest is coming from and how they came to their conclusion. I want him to have people like Joe Schilling on his show because Schilling can explain exactly how he arrived at his anti-cop stance, which can then be addressed.
And moving from Cali to Idaho is exactly what I did. I didn't "bring any leftists" with me, despite being one at the time. If anything, the culture and people of Idaho knocked me off the political fence very quickly because I saw how much better life is here. And the reason it's so much better is lower taxes and the gov't doesn't breathe down your neck at every corner. Of course, until you actually experience this for yourself, it's hard to imagine what a difference it actually makes.
If Rogan were to experience living in a red state like this, I guarantee you that he'd use his platform to promote conservative values. People in blue states would leave even faster, taking their businesses and tax dollars with them, hastening the collapse of states like California and putting an end to the bullshit promise that more gov't = better life.
Come on down to Coeur d'Alene (pronounced core-duh-lane) my friend. We've got lakes, skiing, hunting, camping, great food, little traffic, and the laxest gun control laws you can imagine. All for a fraction of the cost of a leftist shithole like Cali.
Oh man, I feel you. I remember when Grey Davis was recalled, but Newsome is 100x worse. The progressive garbage that leaves his mouth is unbearable. I wouldn't want him in charge of a local McDonald's, let alone being governor.
Start making plans and come on up to Idaho. And go north Idaho. North Idaho is where all the mountainous beauty is. South Idaho is grassy rolling hills as far as the eye can see.
