This isn't exactly true. There's a LOT of factors:
1.) The strain of COVID-19 is a thing. I could go into the details of how we use bacterial enzymes to "cut" DNA to make splicing possible, and how this leaves a "signature" on the virus, and how COVID-19 has 3 such signatures, making it nearly impossible for it to be natural, but the long and the short is, it was, in fact, manufactured in China.
2.) It is manufactured, yes, but highly likely as no more than an experiment. Which is why they were so lax with their protocols, which allowed it to get out. It is much more likely that they were simply testing splicing technology, and made sure to use something that wouldn't be any more dangerous than a common flu than it would be that they were attempting to manufacture a deadly virus and were just so utterly incompetent at it. So yes, it is little more than a common flu.
3.) Complicating matters further, almost EVERY test was done with an early coronavirus antibody snap test. Which means if you had recently had any strain of common cold - which often IS in fact coronavirus related - you would have tested positive for COVID-19. Additionally, hospitals are financially incentivized to say a patient is positive, whether they are or not. Simply put, they get tens of thousands of dollars more PER PATIENT from medicaid. Politicians and media have the incentive of pushing for paper ballots so they can actively steal the November election, and prevent Trump rallies. All said and done, ALL numbers have to be assumed to be up to 85% falsified.
4.) None of the "precautions" they've listed are based on any sort of science. The bulk are based on knee-jerk feels. There have even been studies that have shown that cloth masks likely create MORE infections than no masks at all.
5.) A not small part of this is to see just how malliable Americans are. How easily led like sheep are we? Can we be controlled with fear? Thus far, the answer seems to be "yes". This is the first step of eventually forcing "wrong thinkers" to identify themselves. The mortality rate bit is the crux around my argument for why I never where a mask. Incredibly few people are actually at risk of becoming so sick that they require medical help (like intubation). These are the people you’d already expect; the elderly, those with preexisting respiratory issues, the immunocompromised, blah blah blah. Outside of that small sliver of the population, your average person will likely become sick (maybe even feel really sick), but will be able to jump the hurdles and make it to the other side with gained immunity. With some proper conscious quarantining (obviously leave grandma be for awhile) and an enormous majority of the population leading towards herd immunity, there’s a sure light at the end of the tunnel where the virus no longer finds hosts not already immune and effectively is stamped out. But the not-at-risk are actually intentionally standing in the way of herd immunity and are drawing this out far longer than it needs to be. And for what? The HOPE that a vaccine is developed soon? No thanks, I’ll take the sure bet.
Summary: The healthy that don’t have reason to believe they’ll require hospitalization are the ones herd immunity falls on. They just refuse to accept it.

This is super out there and I had to go deep into my conspiracy brain to dig this one out. But they’re using gait/body recognition cameras in conjunction with the masks to easily identify who is easily manipulated and who would be “problematic” in a takeover.

The mortality rate bit is the crux around my argument for why I never where a mask. Incredibly few people are actually at risk of becoming so sick that they require medical help (like intubation). These are the people you’d already expect; the elderly, those with preexisting respiratory issues, the immunocompromised, blah blah blah. Outside of that small sliver of the population, your average person will likely become sick (maybe even feel really sick), but will be able to jump the hurdles and make it to the other side with gained immunity. With some proper conscious quarantining (obviously leave grandma be for awhile) and an enormous majority of the population leading towards herd immunity, there’s a sure light at the end of the tunnel where the virus no longer finds hosts not already immune and effectively is stamped out. But the not-at-risk are actually intentionally standing in the way of herd immunity and are drawing this out far longer than it needs to be. And for what? The HOPE that a vaccine is developed soon? No thanks, I’ll take the sure bet.
Summary: The healthy that don’t have reason to believe they’ll require hospitalization are the ones herd immunity falls on. They just refuse to accept it.
P. S. For those doubting you can get it and be fine without requiring 24/7 surveillance from the nation’s leading Pathologist and the real life incarnation of Dr. House... I’ve had it and tested positive. I was sick - like the worst flu I’ve ever had times ten and then some. Really knocked me down for a little over a week. Never went to the hospital, never felt the need (though, if you’re unsure then err on the side of caution and go). Basically stayed home and drank tea and ate really thinned out soup.
The fact that we are not making policies based on the objective facts and known variables of this virus is very telling. Like you said, we know who the vulnerable populations are, yet we continue to issue blanket bans that ultimately prolong this disease and hurt our economy.
