Well the voice of the community is largely dictated by the mods and what the mods allow. Many “fandom” mods are lefty’s so they curate the content accordingly. I think that’s the point that’s being made.
Mods have a lot to do with it, but simply not censoring speech produces a balanced if not conservative-leaning online community. Reason being that SJWs don't have anything logical or rational to discuss so they end up screeching which makes them automatically lose in a non-censored forum.
naw i got banned from both the anime and manga subs for praising Ichi the killer and SHAMO and trying to start discussions about byronic heroes, also banned from the HXH sub because i called hisoka a pedo (he is) banned from the One Piece sub for calling out the constant ass pulls and rehashed plot lines, banned from the Bleach sub because i asked why the only black character (lille) got his ass kicked by some random chick that was irrelevant at that point in the story

Anyway the driver called the poster's work (he was in a work van) and told HR to make him take the post down LOL. The group went crazy calling the driver a little bitch, making memes out of his car, etc. Tons of people got banned by cucked mods. I sarcastically said it's time to go to (my city)carspotters.win. Got quite a few likes, so word is getting out!
Porn definitely has a draw. The issue is that it can quickly get out of hand and dominate a site. Personally, I believe that some more entertainment related (movies, gaming, tabletop games, etc) would be a great addition. Either that or something entirely neutral, like "funny" or "books".

KiA2 has more of a "wild west" atmosphere to it where a ton of different subjects can be discussed. Of course, this is the main limitation of the win network, as there is no algorithmic aggregation site for the various win sites, so there is very little chance for community growth through cross-pollination.
If the .win network intends to stand as an intellectual counterpart to reddit, it's not going to be able to do that without consolidating various interests the same way reddit does. It won't be as popular.
It's not about being based, in some cases these guys are going to be against TD thoughts. It's about giving them the same umbrella of freedom we enjoy.
