I'm not really sure why this post is railing against a completely voluntary system of neighborhood governance that every home buyer within the boundaries of that neighborhood agree to before when they sign the contract to purchase the home.

What are you? I liberal who believes that the rules only apply to people that disagree with you? Man up.
