I don't think this is true? In the gym industry I've heard the seniors are more likely to return to their gyms immediately after shutdown, they don't give a fuck.
Maybe that's a certain subset the gym goer type? I've d definitely noticed most of the old ladies masked up all the time even when not required and a good deal of the men too.
