We should really be talking about the death rate of COVID-19/Chinnnna Flu more often. If you’re under the age of 49, the death rate is 0.1%....As in 100 people out of 100,000 die. More people die in accidents everyday.

This is what I dont get... people are loke "REEEEE the covid numbers are going up! No one go to any free state like Alabama or youll get covid becausr they have so many cases and youll be forced to quarantine!" But like.. the raw number of poeple with the virus is irrelevant, its how deadly it is that is important. Hubdreds of thousands of people have a cold every day probably but no one cares because it isnt deadly. MSM and libs just like to hype up the infected numbers. Its fear mongering.

We need to start pushing the death rate drop more. This is what is important and it is being ignored.

Just gotta keep pushing it. Every chance you get.

Also remind people of the asinine practice of forcing positive cases into the most vulnerable population. That's the big story in all of this, and it's being largely ignored.

Absolutely agreed.

.001 * 100,000 is how I was reading it and meant to write it. So 100 people every 100,000.

Your math is poor. 1 person out of 100k die.

100/100k = .1% (1/1000) not .001%

It's okay tho, we love our educated as much as our poorly educated :p

Yep. Actual cases is probably in the millions, meaning the death rate is infinitesimally small. Media likes to parade around case numbers, which is wholly dependent upon the number of tests (which we now lead in), but fail to actually look at the figures that matter: deaths and hospitalizations... except when convenient of course like in Houston, one of the only incidents of overflow being utilized in the entire country. Everybody knows that Houston, Dallas, and Minneapolis had their cases spike because of the mobs and not because of reopening (the timeline and victim ages exactly reinforce this idea), yet nobody wants to say it or else you're racist. So spineless, so pathetic.

0.001 * 100,000 = 100

I agree I could be mistaken. All the mortality rates use different ratios I feel like.

.001 is .1%. 1 is 100%.
