The first step to understanding how susceptible you are to group-think is to understand how you can be manipulated into it. Or how we can also use memetic warfare as a toolkit for defending our position and informing the unguarded.
For me, the first step was taking a look at my own bullshit. Once I realized I was full of shit (See: Socrates and the Oracle) the world opened up to me. Then understanding just how much more full of shit everyone else was things got real fun. Eventually that led me here.
Because at the end of the day factories rusting are real and memes about China are not.
