I've been seeing this thought forming here and across different groups of people. We need a full site that rives reddit, not just in politics but in everyday stuff as well. Take for example, reddit has boards on IT, writing, hacking, anime, music, books and countless other niches topics. We have a opportunity to expand and "slay" the beast that is Reddit.

We'd need to make the platform have free speech as the core tenant of it and we'd need to get alt-tech involved. We could get this done before the true purge comes in a few months when we will really be attacked on all fronts and right now, with the riots and the left over-playing their hand, we have the golden time to grow. Average people are waking up and they will need a place to express themselves in a long-form format.
