All my engineering friends are seeing an uptick in employment opportunity. Recruiters reaching out, interviews etc.

That cheeky GEOTUS bastard has done it gents. Eliminate H1B and guess what, high paying engineering jobs for fucking Americans!!!!

Another bullshit leftist narrative being crushed.

God bless Trump.

On another note, I live in an upper middle class neighborhood. Many many homes here occupied by foreigners in the tech sector. For Sale and For Rent signs everywhere.

This game doesn’t come without some blowback. It blows If your housing prices drop due to market flooding, but look at the bright side, maybe we get paid more because our human demand increases. However that’s encouraging to hear that anecdote from you pede.

If you are living paycheck to paycheck and barely making ends meet on $150,000 per year then this may be a good thing, especially if they live in apartments right now.

Yep. It’s crazy how many people from India are here on those visas. My apartment complex used to be pretty diverse, but then a major engineering company opened near and then you just see an influx of Indians and Pakistanis.

Don’t get me wrong, they are peaceful and don’t fuck around, but they are def taking jobs at a lower pay than they should and living 3-4 people in a one bed apartment.

The people replacing them in the job market could easily put a good dent in that flooded housing market.

For that price you have to get a townhouse.

But soon enough the housing prices will go even higher than current levels.

Legit, market driven, higher wages... not just “muh, I need $15/hr to survive.” I love it.

I have t seen it here yet as far as all the foreign surgeons, physicians, and those in the banking industry. Medical and banking (specifically redit card company headquarters) are some of the biggest industries here. Not seeing any change in housing availability yet.
