Thank you. This is my point. A neighborhood where every house is 100 + yards from the road has different problems, but 40 feet or even 30 yards off the street and you're indefensible even with 2 shooters and 11 cops escorting the lovely peaceful protesters.

We need to plan, and organize. Developing a good relationship with the Police may help us. Then we can maybe find what they have to say, with strong emphasis on they need to enforce rule of law. IDGAF about the distinction of public vs private property, as soon as intimidation is involved there is NO first amendment protection!

A neighborhood concentration of force, 30 heavily ar med guys assembled at the one entrance to the neighborhood, (if you're so lucky to have that configuration) being friendly but directing them THAT way and not THIS way may be successful. But again depends on the crowd's mercy. 2 yellow and black fake traffic signs issuing a warning, creating a line across the road where you know when it's breached, and everybody is dead set on opening fire there from 100 yards away has a much higher success rate. But you have to hunt down every last one. That's the first thing I learned as a kid; if they try to break in and you let them get away, they WILL come back. Fortunately reality is not this dire yet, but we do need to plan for the worst. And hope for the best. And do everything peaceful and legal we can to avoid the worst.

If you can beat a hasty retreat to the roof you should fare better. My house sucks, I can't get out an upstairs window without destroying a screen.
