Ivy League schools have lost a lot of their prestige lately. They’re still seen as among the best, don’t get me wrong there, but they’ve lost an enormous amount of clout and ground to other schools that haven’t bent over backwards to please the most extreme.
I know many prominent people in my field consider places like UChicago or Northwestern to blow places like Yale out of the water. I’ve heard similar things come from people in other fields too.
Ivy league schools are meet and greets for the nations elite. Doesn't matter how far they go into clown world, wealthy people will keep sending their kids, and prestigious schools will remain prestigious for this reason alone.

Yep. Doesn't matter how many tenured geniuses they have on staff. Those folks show up for the first day of class, tell a few jokes, hand out the syllabus, introduce their poverty-wage-paid TA from Mumbai, and you never see them again. The geniuses are off doing research while your kid (who's paying tens of thousands to attend) is getting mumbled at by some guy who could just as well be teaching at the local community college.
Yup. The whole value proposition of an elite school like the Ivy League is Richie Rich III (child of a wealthy industrialist) goes to school with Poindexter Bucket (a child of two school teachers) who is a genius at some kind of engineering field and they get to be friends and after school Rich bankrolls Bucket's business and they both get rich off it. Also Rich falls in love with Eloise Goldbrick whose family runs Lichtenstein and they get married, forging another link between two of the richest families in the world. That's the value proposition of these schools and the reason why I think all the crying and moaning about rich parents bribing their kids' way into these schools is stupid. The point of these schools is not to educate. It is to make introductions. Paying your way in is a perfectly legitimate method to access the party.
While the Ivy's may have dominated the 20th century focus on literature and liberal arts education, they simply cannot compete with some of the upstarts who focus on STEM. They have allowed themselves to be cucked from within by marxists who could never hack it in the real marketplace of ideas so they've silenced dissent for 60 years. Good riddance.
Agreed. I think the northeast private schools have screwed themselves for resisting engineering. IMO the only northeast Ivy-ish school that’s doing STEM right in every field is Carnegie Mellon. I’m not an alum from the their, but I have been very impressed by their ECE grads.
Can confirm. There are leftists there, don’t get me wrong, but also conservatives who think. If you want and actively pursue serious depth, there is no place better left. Claremont Mckinna is also good that way.
They pander via ethos and pathos while pretending logos is racist. They do not operate in a world where logic and reason exist. They are the dented left. It only stands to reason they would prop up a demented candidate for presidency.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, did they go to Yale or Brown? Cause they is named after rayciss. Now I is no Ivy League mane and I was educmacated at lesser institutions, but I know the Ivy Leagues are rayciss against Asians.
Biden is a puppet show to keep people distracted while they focus on Congressional races. If they gain enough power there it won't matter who the President is.
Whatever you do, don't go out campaigning or the coronavirus will get you! Just sit there at home with your censored internet while the left "peacefully protests" for their own agenda.
I like how he kind of went Whack A Mole with it and would wait until someone picked up momentum and then just destroy their whole career with one comment or Tweet.
And we are his only hope. We must stand United.

It's not about the education.

And watch CNN
Don't worry, they have enough fraud to steal the Presidency too.

That has to have long term consequences for ones mental health.
Just look at Biden.
People who pretend their whole lives end up addled in old age. Humans were 't meant to be gaslighted for so long...
Trump did kind of rickroll them into nominating Joe though by focusing and picking off one at a time all the other Dem candidates.
