cancel culture goes both ways

Yes it does that's literally why we're doing it. We're fighting back so they stop. Cancel culture slowed down when we started getting blues fired too. It's stupid but you don't beat a bully by ignoring them, you beat the shit out of them till they learn.

you don't beat a bully by ignoring them, you beat the shit out of them till they learn.

This needs to be repeated to a lot of people here. Daily.

FORCE them to adhere to their fucked up rules.

I would imagine most people who have been bullied in their lives never learned this lesson. Almost all people who experienced bullying just hid in the background behind the kid that looked funny or acted different. For that funny looking kid though there wasn’t anyone else to hide behind. The awkward kid had to learn how to survive. The fucking awkward kid had to get angry, funnel that anger into his fists, and beat the fuck out of that asshole. That’s how the fucking awkward kid became known as the violent awkward kid.

This is how our ancestors have been dealing with assholes for millennia. Stop being weak pansies and stand for something. If the goofy looking fuck can learn to defend himself, so can everyone else here. (I apologize for the rant, just the more I thought about how many people never learned to stand up to a bully, the more angry I got about why they didn’t learn this lesson)

Laugh when they hit you, no one wants to fight the crazy kid that doesn't feel pain

Beat the shit out of those who hit you. Even fewer want to fight people who will beat the shit out of them.

Bullshit.

Hit them back harder when they hit you. Nobody wants to get hit.

What? Sounds so stupid. If a bully hits you and you laugh, he won’t be scared of you. He will think you’re autistic and hit you again

When I was a freshman I had a junior varsity baseball player in one of my classes. He had a buddy with a sprained ankle in class and they were trying to bully me and when I turned their insult around on them and had whole class laughing at him he grabbed his friends crutch and full on swing it like a bat at me. I laughed after it hit me, which I think stunned him, then I grabbed it from his hands, hit him under chin with it, then laid crutch against wall and jumped on it to bend it in half. Stood over him, said "who's laughing now bitch." Walked out of class and next day when he showed up he apologized. Kids today are taught to allow people to hurt their feelings and become a victim. I've taught mine to not allow anyone to do this to them and I've got their back if they have to resort to violence to remedy a bully situation.

Former Fat Kid here. Still Fat. No longer Kid. Two bullies dealt with, one when the teacher left the room for a moment, he started with me, and I'd had enough and finished it. The other in a shorter amount of time when he (stupidly) started picking on me while he had a broken leg, on crutches... and I took those crutches and dropped them down the center of the stairwell, leaving him to scoot on his ass down from the 3rd floor to the basement. That one realized "Ah, shit, I'm at his mercy, aren't I?" Sometimes the pushback doesn't need to be too hard. Other times the pushback needs to be a total ass whomping. But we do need to push back.

I've been in a lot of tough situations growing up. The people that get bullied and tormented are the ones who back down, stick up for yourself, and they leave you alone.

I was pretty small as a kid, but after a few attempts, no one fucked with me. I had friends who were much bigger and likely stronger, but they cowered and were tormented for it

I fought dirty, it worked. Anything to win. I went to a new school in a tough area in 3rd grade and after that year never had to fight again. I am a small female and a guy I fought back then who in high school outweighed me by about triple and wasn't fat, was still scared of me. I am the nicest person with a long fuse most of the time, but if it snaps I will escalate. As an adult this means when a local company was trying to screw me, then was really rude by the time the caved, I called corporate and they are in serious trouble with the bosses. My son works for the same company in another shop and I know what their policies are so i know the guy will regret it.

Gotta hit back. It might be scary but it's the only way.

I get this sentiment I really do but this shit has got to stop. The only people who should be forced to lose their jobs are people who think others should be forced to lose their jobs. We need to start attacking this belief, and those who hold this belief, directly. If there is anyone in this world that should live in absolute fear it's these shitty little mini-tyrants who feel safe amplified by the media systems they love.

If we don't we will end up in a dystopian shitscape where posting Overton Window personal political whinges or occasional dark humor gets you called into a Political Officer's plushly decorated yet viciously sterile workspace, via Zoom, to be terminated.

I'm not saying a little quid pro quo isn't in order here. Especially in this harpy's case, holy shit what a monster. What I am saying is it is time to go on the offensive against the root ideology and directly at the people who hold this ideology in public.

bruh, how about not letting them make the rules to begin with. Did I just blow your mind?

This is the problem with the Right. We always take the high road with our opponents. These leftist fucks don’t deserve that approach.

This is why language matters. Stop calling them faggots & they became Faggotzord.

No bully stops bullying by ignoring them, or appeasing them. Playground rules.

4moreMAGA 21 points ago +21 / -0

I meant in this specific case it's not even cancel culture. She's threatening violence, that should get her fired no matter what her beliefs are.

EDIT: Also just to be clear I also was alluding to the fact that the hypocrisy and imbalance is still there. Look at what conservatives say/do that ends up getting them fired compared to what finally got someone like this girl fired.

I this from Ender's game movie?

I'll watch it only because of your comment

2
Nalgahyde 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's not word-for-word but it's the same gist. Watch "Ender's Game" and keep in mind this comment when you get to the scene where Ender gets cornered in the science lab by some bullies. There's an overarching theme throughout the movie regarding that quote.

If cancel culture goes both ways then how come the black face governor Northam still has a job? How come black face jimmy Kimmel and howard stern still have jobs?

CanuckElhead 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yeah I find the comparisons to bullying hilarious because just like my experiences in that matter the bully would be useless if authority did its job. Sadly most of the teachers ignored or excused bad behavior from the right people (sound familiar?) but came down hard on anyone who fought back against them.

Nah he doesn't have a boss that's the problem. You can't pressure the top.
