When did police brutality occur in Seattle?

Upvote for you!

AFAIK, there was none. Yet there are people there claiming it.

Its simply pointing out the failed logic behind the protests and calls for defunding the police.

I lived there for a few years. They had a reputation. There was a video maybe ten to fifteen years ago, of a cop running and tackling a guy into a wall. The cop thought he was a suspect but it was just a random person. The guy was paralyzed. The guy was white. I met his mother while I was there, she seemed really anti cop, then I learned it was her son in that famous video.

A lot changed as a result of that though. and I think anyone who lives there would say the Seattle of today has little resemblance to the Seattle of ten or fifteen years ago.

It's just so bizarre that they protest police brutality, then two black kids try to drive a stolen van into the zone, perhaps because they heard there's no police there and the CHOP "security" just immediately opens fire on them with assault rifles without any protocol at all.

After CHOP was cleared, were there arrests? Will these CHOP security people stand trial?
