When you do switch the flag, please treat the old one with the well-deserved respect its earned. (Duh, of course you will, you're a Patriot!) But you can retire it usually at a local Legion Hall, and the Boy Scouts retire them as well. Just a thought i wanted to pass along.
Before my flag was lit up at night, my boys would lower and fold it every evening for me. They know how much it means to treat the flag with respect, and that makes me a proud papa. Take care.

The Flag is worse for wear. Time to invest in a new one.
