How amazing would it be if Twitter bans Trump and he starts posting updates on this site? As far as I know there's no other bigger pro-Trump platform on the internet. I hope he knows that even if Twitter bans him he can still reach his supporters here.
I am extremely not bullish on Parler's success given the requirement to have an account (and I believe a phone number) to view. This might help me though, considering I'm working on something myself. The short version is, none of the alternative platforms really offer much of anything that innovative or different from the mainstream platforms. They're just "less censored Reddit" or "less censored twitter." which is a major value-add, but not enough to really drive a meaningful shit except by pure luck,

Agreed. Parler needs to be opened up or it’s just a big echo chamber where nobody else can hear you.
Parler seems too restrictive imo.
