You need an account to see palor posts. Might be an oversight might be a 'feature' to keep the site from overloading. Either way needs to be fixed.

The CEO of Parler was just on CNBC. They are here to stay as a Twitter alternative. Perhaps, instead of dismissing them as a ruse, ask which app we should endorse, Twitter or Parler. Not knowing the correct answer, I note that Parler at least has pledged to not manipulate search, censor Trump or conservative voices, and to uphold free speech.

I don’t use Twitter. But it seems Parler deserves a chance to prove themselves a worthy alternative. People have been asking for alternatives for years. Well, one has arrived...

Yes, the closed aspect needs to be changed. I’m hoping it’s just while they work out bugs etc.

Now you know why it is nice that parler exists...but it is for now a self-contained echo-chamber. Without reach. Let's call it a "clubhouse"...no need to bash it so far. But also no need to be overhyped by a "new" messenger. And we have seen multiple "alternatives" come and get slowed down. So I stay sceptical for now.

Mind you/us all: Big Tech is purging because they are about CONTAINMENT this election. They need us out and fight us in developing spaces. Using the market they still control instead their sites. Because that didn't work out, cost a lot and brings legal trouble.

But more IMPORTANT: They do not care about losing users, numbers or cash for now. If Trump wins they will LOSE ALL. So they want us gone and will then surpress our new homes. Just keep that in mind.

Therefore I am sceptical of calls to delete your Twitter etc. accounts now. Do so - won't debate that. But it seems what they are pushing for. Homogenic filter-bubbles to not lose more people to redpilling. Just remember FB - it is still alive. Had one exodus after another. Scandals, Lawsuits....still there. So will Reddit, Twitter etc.
