As much as I don’t mind joking about it, I can’t stand how quick people where to comply with the insane restrictions put into place to “protect” people from what is essentially a bed flu.
This “new normal” sets a dangerous precedent when it comes to the use of non conventional weapons in future conflicts. What kept everyone off the use of bio weapons in conflicts until now was the assumption that the death toll would far outweigh any economic impact. The lockdown measures have showed it is otherwise. Even a moderate germ can cause immense economic pain.
