The city wouldn’t let him see the body for 7 fucking days. What have we let these politicians do to our government? This is not some failed narco state or former-soviet backwater, but Seattle — a major city with a few of the country’s largest employers, sports teams, etc.

A fucking week. And they couldn’t even call the man about his son and say “duhh we let the commies use your special needs child for target practice and then bleed out on the pavement.”

He was a disabled kid trying to fit in with the crowd. He wasn't a threat to anyone. He probably saw some shit that made him realize he shouldn't be there but it was too late.

You are spot on. Just a kid trying to fit in. Fucking sucks, he had a good dad too.

So the father is a piece of shit for not raising his son right and taking care of him? My best friend has a mentally retarded brother, and they took damn good care of him and made sure he had a group home and arrangements and such made.

Life is more complicated than that. There is a gulf between an upstanding, wonderful human and the average hard-working, good human on the spectrum of humanity.

I don't think it is like that. He was not so handicapped that he needed to be in a special home or something. I think the point is that maybe he simply was not as quick thinking or as worldly as "normal."

I am sure as fuck not going to blame any parent for their child being killed in a goddamned riot zone that was not only tolerated but promoted by the GOVERNMENT.

Fuck off with that bullshit. Dude is weeping on live tv for his disabled son that was killed and is just asking for answers and that's what you say?

Your telling me you never snuck out in the middle of the night as a teenager? All over the news is this wonderful utopia and you think the kids wouldnt want to see it? Now there could be more to this but we don't know yet.

My parents never knew when I told them I was going out with friends that I was commiting vandalism like a punk teen. You can't blanket assume people. Plus you went right for the bad calling this kid a communist.

Feel free to go blame the actual communists for creating a communist space and kicking out people who didn’t toe the communist line, which makes any reasonable person assume the majority of people there support the communist effort.

Bax101 8 points ago +8 / -0

Well if we can use this as a weapon against the communist ideas when unfortunate kids are killed like Hilter Youth or the Brown Shirts than use it as is. Just speaking like some higher than thou by not acting is just more keyboard warrior nonsense. It brings nothing to this conversation besides negativity.

His dad mentioned in the video that his son had learning disabilities and was easily persuaded to go along with people and do what people told him to. He was born at 25 weeks. Not too hard to believe that someone called, texted or just saw him on the street and told him to come out and join "the cause" and he showed up and then did or said something "wrong". Bottom line, the city of Seattle is guilty here.

Probably.

Life is more complicated than that.

It's not an excuse to avoid responsibility, but in life there are extenuating circumstances. Some are mitigating, some are aggravating.

yes

lake-koshkonong 22 points ago +23 / -1

The son had special needs - father said he was deprived oxygen at birth at 25 weeks and had a personality that was easily influenced.

And yes, as teenagers, who of us didn't sneak out or go somewhere that we weren't supposed to be? In my case, we were often T-P'ing our high school. Good times of harmless fun.

Where’s your proof that the son had all these medical issues? From the father that may have reason to point the blame elsewhere?

2

The proof is the father speaking in the video, now I know you're full of shit, because you haven't watched it or you would know that.

Where is your proof that you’re not a faggot? Because all of your comments thus far are either out of ignorance, faggotry, or trolling. You can’t possibly be this dumb unless you fit into one of the three aforementioned categories.

He said the kid had developmental disabilities and was easily influenced. He clearly had a family that cared. I understand your point but I’m not going there or making judgements. Seattle government is responsible for all of it and it’s disgusting.

This is not some failed narco state or former-soviet backwater, but Seattle

I think you underestimate the power of collectivists in Seattle and Washington Sate

I was in Seattle a little while ago. Place gives me REALLY bad vibes. I hardly saw any black ppl. Just rich white KIDS everywhere living in apts with $3000/month rent currently being paid oodles by the state to sit on their asses. It's disconnected from reality. Fun fact: no state income tax in WA. After this mess, I hope they all enjoy their new income taxes!

3
rooftoptendie 3 points ago +3 / -0

they got taxes comin and goin an all sorts of other ways though. But no, their model is in no way self sustaining. Its laughable. Basically all of Washington pays for King County to run a giant daycare for the mentally and spiritually inept.

WinstonSmith1984 1 point ago +1 / -0

No doubt. I was there in the early 90's for a couple weeks and it was a fun vibe, decent music, etc. Wouldn't want to go back now.

(Rhetorical statement)

Where are the BLM movement? Better yet, where are all of the “outspoken” NFL players on this?
