The kid was suggestible, easily influenced as some disabled kids are, do you have any idea how much work disabled kids can be, you are jumping to conclusions about group homes and arrangements the father had made, the kid looked only mildly disabled, maybe he wandered off with his "friends", you can't track people 24/7, and also, NO ONE had any predictions for the CHAZ environment. Except rightwingers, but we're always shut up on media.
I grew up with a disabled brother. I know exactly how much work they can be, and how easily they get into trouble if left to their own devices. Which is why my parents arranged for him to be in a group home because they can’t watch him 24/7. And my parents do go see him on a regular basis and bring him home on some weekends. So you gotta understand, when I read stories like “white kid tortured by 4 black thugs in Chicago” or “disabled man shot and killed in CHAZ”, this shit is personal for me.
Was this kid that bad? I dunno. I did read elsewhere that he was in trouble a lot. So I dunno what that means. But what I am interpreting it to mean is the kid gets in trouble a lot and the family was doing nothing to help.
“That poor kid was disabled! He didn’t know any better
Me: ok, then the dad is a bad parent for letting him run around.
“What?!?!!! Not every disabled kid is THAT bad!!!”
Me: ok, then the kid was kinda dumb for being there.
“What?!?!!! But the kid was disabled! He didn’t know what the place was about!!!”
Me: 😑😑😑
Nigga what? I don't think you're picking up what's being put down. Your entire reasoning presumes that the father was able to keep him under control in the first place. Considering we have no idea on the extent of the kid's issues or of the father's ability, you can't make any kind of claim like "herpa derpa bad parent derpa herpa".

No, you know how your disabled brother is, not how disabled people are. They are all individual cases.
Ok, see, this is some of the logic annoying me.

This is circular logic, and it’s frustrating.
