look up HAARP, its a military base in alaska, it can, among a shit ton of other scary things, like control weather, also cause earthquakes. It uses high frequencies to destroy missiles and planes and such as well. The military has small versions of these to stop nuclear and other missles from hitting the president on his foreign trips. Look up his foreign trips and see the various earthquakes that happen the day before, or day of his arrival, usually a 3-5 level earthquake.
